How did you overcome it\, and what did that experience teach you about your voice\, resilience\, and identity?\n\n\nTell us about a dream you hold for your future—whether it’s a career\, a passion\, or a personal goal. How are you working toward it\, and how has thinking\, speaking\, or even dreaming in English shaped your path? \n\n2. Format Your Essay: \n\nMinimum 1000 words\n12pt font\, double spaced\nPlease have a mentor or friend proofread your essay before submitting.\n\n3. Official Contest Rules: \n\nParticipants must be born outside of the United States and be 18 years of age or older.\nSubmission dates are from August 6th\, 2025 to October 20th 2025. \nAll essays must be submitted before or on Monday\, October 20\, 2025 for consideration.\nIf you have entered the contest before\, you may do so again.
