Sayeh Khamoushi

We are incredibly proud of Sayeh Khamoushi, an inventor and Ph.D. student who arrived in the U.S. just two and a half years ago and has already earned two major international honors at the Silicon Valley International Invention Festival (SVIIF 2025).

Sayeh won the Gold Medal for her innovative AMESECAR system, which adapts lighting and sound based on a user’s emotional and physiological state. She also received the Bronze Medal for her Multimodal Smart Eyeglasses, designed to support adaptive vision, monitor vital biosignals, and assist in emergencies. Earlier this year, one of these inventions was also recognized with a WIPO Special Award.

Sayeh credits her success to persistence, community support, and strong collaboration with her teammates.

Women Walking West celebrates this milestone and is honored to support newcomer women as they pursue education, innovation, and opportunity.
