Partners and Corporate Sponsors

W3 Partnering Industries, Agencies and Universities

Due to the nature of services provided by W3, we are partnering with many agencies, industries, and universities in the region. Such organizations will be a resource for the women we serve. Establishing close relations with universities is a key piece in leveraging our resources to provide the best possible solutions for challenges facing women. For example, many universities have an International Education Office supporting foreign students. These universities can refer foreign female students to W3 for additional support, and W3 can utilize the universities’ resources if and when they are needed. W3 will also partner with nonprofit government agencies such as The City of Mason and Deerfield Township, as well as private foundations.

Corporate Sponsors

Corporate sponsorship is a major focus of Women Walking West. These sponsorships effectively leverage our resources to increase revenue and develop relationships with prospect industries. A sponsorship payment is one where the corporation contributes to an organization without substantial gain in return. Sponsorships provide tax benefits to the business, help fund the nonprofit, and avoid classification as unrelated business income (which is subject to taxation). Our corporate sponsors are those that have made a significant contribution to Women Walking West. We sincerely appreciate our corporate sponsors without whom we will not be as effective and successful.
