Our Newsletter is now called RISE. Matching our Gala acronym: Reach, Include, Support, Educate; We are rebranding our twice annually newsletter and are pleased to share the January 2026 issue.

We have been busy planning and scheduling our year for you. Please read our attached newsletter to get the details. Scroll down to see the pictures showcased in our publication.

  • Women in Leadership: Our first program in this virtual series is Thurs. February 5, 2026. Meet Ivy K. Banks, M.Ed., J.D., Vice President, Legal Affairs at Xavier University, and current W3 Board Member. RSVP HERE.
  • Workforce Readiness: Our first program in this virtual series is February 25 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm. Dr. Cynthia Matossian from American College of Eye Technicians (ACET) discusses exciting careers in optometry fields. RSVP HERE.
  • Workforce Readiness: Thursday April 9, 2026 on location at the Hamilton Library.

Our 7th Annual RISE Gala 2026 will be on Thursday November 12, 2026. We are in the early planning stages. Are you interested in helping on one of our committees? Email info@womenwalkingwest.org if you’d like to help us out later this year with the planning fun!
