Women Walking West RISE newsletter for January 2026.

Our Newsletter is now called RISE. Matching our Gala acronym: Reach, Include, Support, Educate; We are rebranding our twice annually newsletter and are pleased to share the January 2026 issue.

  • Essay Contest 2026: Our annual contest is moving to the spring!

  • Featured Board Member: Carey Curtis, Chief Commercial Officer at North Side Bank & Trust. His support for W3 is so important and valuable to our mission.

  • Women in Leadership: Our first program in this virtual series is Thurs. February 5, 2026. Meet Ivy K. Banks, M.Ed., J.D., Vice President, Legal Affairs at Xavier University, and current W3 Board Member. RSVP HERE.
  • Workforce Readiness: Our first program in this virtual series is February 25 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm. Dr. Cynthia Matossian from American College of Eye Technicians (ACET) discusses exciting careers in optometry fields. RSVP HERE.
  • Workforce Readiness: Thursday April 9, 2026 on location at the Hamilton Library.
